Do not busy yourself with too many matters, for if you meddle much you will not be unpunished. You will not escape. There is one who toils, and is so much the more behind. But others take their time and have need of help, and they become weaker and weaker, and poorer and poorer. The eyes of the Lord looked upon him for good and helped him out of his misery, bringing him honor, that many marveled at him.
The bee is small, but creates the sweetest fruits. Do not glorify yourself because of your beautiful clothing. Do not be arrogant on festival days. Many tyrants have come down upon the earth, but the one who no one would have expected got the crown in the end. Great, respected men have fallen into the hands of others.
Everything comes from God: happiness and unhappiness, life and death, poverty and riches. God gives possessions to the pious, who remain and prosper in everything. Some men are stingy, save, and become rich, wanting to have a good life, but he does not know that he will soon die and that everything will have to end. Be steadfast in your covenant, and continue to work at it. Marvel not at the works of a sinner which bring them money. Trust the Lord in your labor, for it is an easy thing in the sight of the Lord swiftly to make a poor man rich. The blessing of the Lord is the reward of the godly, he gives great blessings in a short time.
