Si 4,21-23 - On being brave

Do nothing at the wrong time, and guard yourself from falsehood. Speak the truth without shame. Do not hold back your words, if you can help others with them. Speak not against the truth. Be not ashamed to make confession of your sins, this is like attempting to halt the current of the river in vain Do not serve fools, and do not take heed of the mighty. Let not your hand be stretched out to receive, and closed when you should repay.
