Dt 3 - The division of the lands of Jordan

The Reubenites and the Gadites received the land from Aroer to Gilead, including half the hill country and the Jordan valley. The Manassehites received the rest of Gilead and the mountains, all of Bashan (land of the giants). Jair, son of Manasseh received Argob as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maakathites; Bashan was named “villages of Jair”, and I gave Gilead to Makir.
