And the Egyptians were urgent with the people and drove them out of the land in haste. The people took their raw dough before it was leavened. And the children of Israel did as Moses told them. They let the Egyptians give them silver and golden jewelry and clothing. The Lord had made them submissive. And they considered it as plunder. They journeyed from Rameses to Succoth. Six hundred thousand men, besides women and children. Many foreign people, and sheep and cattle, and much livestock. And they baked the raw dough which they brought out of Egypt as unleavened bread; because it was not leavened, because they were driven out of Egypt and could not wait any longer and had prepared no food. The time that the children of Israel had lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. Gold, silver, precious stones were given to the women of the people of Israel.
