Praise the Lord, my soul, and all that is within me praise his holy name. Do not forget the good he has done for you. He has forgiven your sins, healed your diseases, saved your life, and crowned you with mercy and loving kindness. He has satisfied your desire with good things your whole life long; your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, abundant in loving kindness. Like a father to his children, so he will have compassion on those who fear him. For he knows: we are only dust, the days of a man are like grass. He blossoms like the flower of the field: once the wind passes over it, it is gone. Its place remembers it no more. The Lord on his throne in heavens – praise him, you angels, you strong heroes, all his armies, which serve him. Praise the Lord, my soul.
